Privacy Policy
Storytime · Last updated October 18, 2026
Storytime is a picture-book app for families, made by Together Studio ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and why. In short: there are no accounts, no ads and no tracking, and your voice recordings never leave your device.
What we don't collect
- We don't ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers, birthdays or photos.
- There are no ads, no advertising identifiers and no third-party analytics or tracking in the app.
- We don't sell or share personal information.
Voice recordings
Storytime lets a parent record themselves reading each page. It uses the microphone only when you tap Record. Recordings are saved inside the app on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. They may be included in your device's own backups (such as iCloud Backup), which your device's maker handles. Recording a page again replaces its earlier recording, and deleting the app removes them all from the device.
Reading aloud
When the app reads a story aloud it plays the story's own narration or uses your device's built-in text-to-speech voice. The words of the story are not sent to us for this.
Settings
Preferences such as background music and automatic page turning are stored only on your device.
Subscriptions
Storytime Plus is bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details; the store handles payment. To know whether a device has an active subscription we use RevenueCat, a subscription service. RevenueCat assigns the app a random, anonymous ID and receives purchase information (such as which plan, when it was bought and when it renews) from the store. This ID isn't linked to your name or email by us. RevenueCat's own privacy policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Downloading stories
Stories are downloaded from our servers, which run on Cloudflare. As with any internet request, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the files. When a Storytime Plus story is downloaded, the app sends its anonymous RevenueCat ID so we can check that the subscription is active. We don't use this information to identify you or build a profile.
Children
Storytime is made for children to enjoy with a parent or caregiver. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app has no accounts, chat, social features or ads. Purchases are protected by the store's own password or Face ID prompt.
Your choices
- You can deny or turn off microphone access in your device's settings; everything except recording keeps working.
- You can delete the app to remove everything it stored on your device, including recordings.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
- To ask about, or ask us to delete, any information connected to your anonymous subscription ID, email us at the address below.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change affects how we handle information in a significant way, we will also say so in the app.
